Tigger! is a recognized pioneer of today's burlesque scene, but he has been an actor all his life -- "acting like a stripper" since 1992. Using his degree in theatre, his experience in teaching acting at universities, and over 40 years on the stage (from Shakespeare to Shimmy), Tigger! employs his theatrical training & perspective to break down what makes a burlesque performer stand out from the herd. Whatever you do in front of any kind of an audience, You are an Actor.
"FUCK 'EM IN THE HEART! Acting for Burlesque" is an interactive lecture with acting/movement exercises.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing you can move in. Shoes are optional.

A pioneer in the 1990s burlesque renaissance who won the 1st-ever "Mr. Exotic World/King of Boylesque" title at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas 2006. He won numerous Golden Pastie Awards, including "Most Likely to Get Shut Down by the Law" & "Most Unpredictable Performer." His act was banned in Rome. He has headlined all around Europe, Australia, North America & South America.
