This class will move through and outside of gender by way of dance and burlesque.
Masc. and femme expression, non-binarism, and gender-fluidity will be mixed up, swirled together, and explored in a playful way!
All of the elements of a movement class will be present:

Exploration of movement
Choreographed combination
All gender expressions are welcome!
Students are invited to participate in the way that feels most affirming to them.
All levels of experience are welcome!
What to wear: Comfortable clothing you can move in. Shoes are optional.

A Philadelphia native and BFA in Dance from Temple University, Bear Trap is a burlesque performer in the City of Brotherly Love. He has been a part of the burlesque scene for over 6 years, and has performed across the country and internationally. Performance credits include the Savannah Burlesque Festival, New Mexico Burlesque Festival, Colorado Burlesque Festival, and the Berlin International Boylesque Festival. Mr. Trap is a current resident performer at Fabrika in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia. Watch where you step everyone, it’s a Bear Trap!
