Intermediate Burlesque now incorporates specific themes and/ or areas of focus! There will be a unique twist baked into the leveled up burlesque movement class you know and love, offering opportunities to deepen your skill set and to soak in each instructor’s distinctive style. We will rotate through various technique and stylistic focuses, musical genres, decade themes, and beyond!
Are you ready you ready for a more challenging drop-in style burlesque class?
Every second and fourth Wednesday you can join one of our rotating instructors for a class that will keep you on your toes. This class will be taught at a faster pace than our All Levels Burlesque class and will involve more dynamic use of timing, more in-depth choreography, and may or may not include floor work.
Level: Intermediate
Who is this class for? While there are no specific prerequisites, this class is crafted for folks with some dance experience or students who have been taking classes at the Philadelphia Burlesque Academy for 1 year or more. If you find yourself breezing through All Levels classes, feel confident learning choreography as well as getting down and back up from the floor, this class is for you!
What to wear: Comfy clothing you can move in. Sturdy heels or dance shoes are recommended. If you have sensitive knees it is best to come prepared with knee pads in the event there is floor work!
