Hone your skills in transitions, movement and connection; and acquire the tools necessary to bring out the WOW factor in your next act. Take your choreography from step-driven and technical to organic and awe inspiring!

Learn the importance of active listening, song selection and mapping, alongside tips to working with live bands.  Lou Lou will teach you how to strengthen your use of rhythm, tempo, phrasing, and mood so that you will be set up for success next time you hit the stage.

This is a theory class so bring a notebook and pen.

The Reigning Miss Exotic World, Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière, aka Lauren Ashley Jiles, is a Afro-Indigenous internationally renowned neo-burlesque dancer, teacher, and activist hailing from the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, Quebec. 

She began her burlesque career in 2005 in Montreal with troupe Blue Light Burlesque. She has since headlined shows across North America and has performed in New Orleans, Las Vegas, New York, Texas, Detroit, and Chicago.

She has been thrice voted into the Burlesque Top 50 by 21st Century Burlesque.

In addition to being the 2022 Queen Of Burlesque (Burlesque Hall Of Fame), she has held the titles of 2018 New Orleans Queen of Burlesque. 2019 Burlesque Hall of Fame 2nd Runner up and Most Innovative.
