So you want to get into burlesque, but you don’t know where to start? Ginger Leigh has you covered!
Ginger Leigh by ChrisKPhotography
In this 2 hour class, we start with a brief check-in and a warmup to get our minds and bodies ready for some burly-q. From here, we learn ssassy and sexy classic burlesque basics including bumps, grinds, poses, struts, shimmies, and beyond. Ginger will break down each move and give time for exploration so you can feel fabulous. The movement portion of class will culminate in an easy to learn burly-q dance combination that will leave you feeling like a sultry-sweet badass.
The last portion of Glimmer will titillate your brain with a brief burlesque history lesson, complete with photos and videos. Class will close with a check-out and an opportunity for Q and A!
This class will happen in our upstairs studio.
What is the difference between Glimmer and Drop-in Burlesque? Glimmer is taught at a slower pace, the moves are simpler, and a burlesque history lesson is included!
Absolutely no experience necessary. Glimmer is designed for first-timers!
All bodies, genders, and ages (18+) are welcome!
