Studio Policies
The Philadelphia Burlesque Academy welcomes all bodies, genders, races, abilities, and ages (18+). We respect pronouns and expect all students and renters to do the same.
Payment:
All fees are due at the time of registration. If a payment plan is available it will be noted in the class description. All payments are due whether or not you are still attending class.
Cancellation:
Drop-in Burlesque, Twerklesque, and single class workshops:
In order to receive a refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Email us to start this process.
Multi-class series and progressives:
You have 48 hours from the time of registration to cancel and receive a full refund. Please contact us in case of an emergency.
1-on-1 sessions are non-refundable.
If cancelling at least 24 hours before your 1-on-1, you may reschedule. Your session is forfeited when you cancel with less than 24 hour notice. Please contact your 1-on-1 instructor directly to discuss rescheduling.
Bachelorette parties and other private classes:
You may cancel up to 14 days before your scheduled class to receive a refund of your deposit. No refunds will be given when cancelling within 14 days of your scheduled class.
A no-show for any and all class types = no refund or transfer.
